Mayan food

A Peccary sniffing the ground.
Mayans food was known to contain wild pigeons quail  why as well as partridge and wild duck. They domesticated turkey and hunted deer and peccary with bows. They cultivated cocoa. They used it to make chocolate. Chocolate didn't contain sugar at the time, but was considered to be a delicacy.
Chocolate was bitter at the time.
